Surge the Tenrec, has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to her edgy design, electric powers, and rebellious personality, so it’s no wonder collectors everywhere are itching to see her immortalized in plush form.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there’s no official Surge the Tenrec plush by SEGA, GE Animation, Great Eastern, or any of the usual licensed plush makers.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be one though! (We’ll be updating the website in real time).

The character, is still pretty new to the franchise, and official merch lines usually take a little while to catch up especially for comic‑exclusive characters.

At the end of the day, it’s really up to us, the fans, to show there’s real demand.

This website is completely fan‑made, for example. I thought it’d be nice to build something for the character, and so I did.

Currently, the only option that I’ve found that comes close, is this listing on etsy, here.

It’s a custom made Surge the Tenrec plush, by “BestCustomToysStore” and currently costs around $330 USD, which is quite expensive.

If you’re a die hard Surge fan, and can’t wait (possibly years) for an official plush to be created, or need one for content creation for example, then this is a good option.

If you’re fine waiting for something a bit more affordable to pop up, then you should give this one a pass.

In The Mean Time...

With that said, there’s still plenty you can do to keep the hype alive!

Dive into the IDW Sonic comics where Surge made her debut (they’re honestly a must‑read if you haven’t yet). I recommend the Impostors Syndrome miniseries.
